“Trust in the Living Lord” Sermon Series

God has been so good to us through the person of Jesus Christ and through the history of Living Lord Lutheran Church. As we have begun our preparation for Commitment Sunday on Sunday, November 16, we will be exploring how we can grow in our relationship with God and with one another through the lens of trust.

Sunday School

35th Annual Living Lord Christmas Pageant! Mark your calendars, because the Christmas Pageant is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 3:00 pm. Pageant practice begins on Monday, October 13. Rehearsals will take place in Soderlund Hall from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. The Christmas Pageant choir is open to children in first grade through high school and adults. PreK and Kindergarten children are welcome to participate in the Nativity and sing a special song to kick off the pageant. Youth and adults are encouraged to be part of the Nativity. There are plenty of opportunities to take part in this always joyous celebration of the Christmas season. Please contact Mr. Steve with any questions.

Pastor’s Bible Study- Join us on Wednesdays at 11 am in Soderlund Hall. We are doing a series called “Experiencing God” that explores the way God has encountered and called people throughout the history of the Bible. And, it is HYBRID! Adult Bible Study-  Adult Bible Study takes place Sunday mornings at 9 am. We'll be looking at the letter from James, which is the book that Martin Luther did not want included in the Bible. James talks about patience and wisdom (need any of those things?) and controlling the tongue! We'll be using a study guide by N.T. Wright, but our main source is the Bible.
